Blogging from Indonesia
It’s been 8 or 9 days since I have arrived and I have been really enjoying my time with my relatives and meeting new friends going on all sorts of crazy adventures and more to come.
I get to shop ‘till I drop here, take a bunch of beautiful pictures, visiting all sorts of tourist attractions and landmarks, and I just rode on a horse yesterday or uhhr earlier today haha.
The time difference between Indonesia and LA is so confusing here that I don’t even know whether it is Thursday or Friday right now since my phone is still in LA time and I don’t see any calendars to follow what date it is exactly here in Indonesia..so I don’t know, at least I know what time it is here and there? Hahaha
Besides the whole confusing time difference, I ate a bad egg, suffered going through nasty toilets, and got checked out/followed by scary looking people..
On the upside, I was flattered by many nice comments my relatives and strangers have given me regarding my appearance.
When we went to Kawah Putih, some strangers wanted me to take a picture WITH them cuz they thought I was either pretty or a movie star or something lolol..
And when my mom, aunt and I rode on a shuttle bus from Bandung back to Jakarta, we befriended this decent looking guy (who my mom kept embarassing me with by claiming that he’s hot) said that I was ke ai (which means cute in Mandarin) heheh..
Then when I face timed with my cousin back in LA, she tells me that when I hung out with my other cousin the other day in Suburb, some of the guys from church has been asking about me..lolol
I hope I don’t sound boastful or whatever, but I just thought those things are amusing and something worth sharing haha xD..
Lots of the Pros outweighs the Cons cuz of all the delicious authentic food here that I get to enjoy here only at Indonesia. That and all the cheap and cool stuff I get to buy and experience/see.
The only cons I could really think of is just all the traffics, how we need money for everything (like parking, going on highways, restroom, etc etc..), and the nasty toilets are really unbearable ugh.
Other than that I love the fact that I get to spend my time with my awesome relatives who takes me everywhere, buys me everything, and going on a bunch of crazy adventures with me hahah.
The highlights of my trip so far are horse riding, hanging out with my hyper cousin, shopping, seeing/experiencing the magical Kawah Putih, and most definitely eating until I suffocate.
We’re going to Bali in a few days and maybe Medan soon, so I’m pretty excited about what’s more to come!
Yay Indonesia ^^
you,
you have the power to make people feel special. Not just me, everyone.

Ready
It’s been 11 years and I barely remember anything from Indonesia.
My mother and I have spent days packing a bunch of stuff and the day for our departure is finally here.
I am ready.
